While Richard is quite rightly acknowledged as the forum parking guru he will not be able to give any guarantees. In recent years the adjudicators at PATAS seem to have been less inclined to allow appeals based on de minimis errors in signage and markings which Richard has been expert at identifying. It used to be possible, for example, to win an appeal if you could find any entry to the zone which did not have a pair of signs marking its boundaries. Recently however PATAS adjudicators seem to have been rejecting appeals on this basis. In my view the inadequacies of the signage at this spot are not de minimis. They are patently misleading and the PATAS adjudicator would not be doing their job if they refused an appeal for this ticket. I can't believe that nobody has appealed when caught in this trap and they would be able to tell you what happened. If you had the comfort of a precedent you could appeal with a lot more confidence. |
