Hounslow will reject nearly all appeals that are made to them no matter what their merits. They rely on people not having the time to take it further or being intimidated by the possibility of having to pay a larger fine if their appeal fails. The only way you can get someone to look at the details of your appeal is to take it to PATAS to whom you'd send exactly the same information as the Council so it is no real extra effort. It is highly likely in this case that Hounslow will try and face you down by rejecting the appeal and then pretending they are willing to take it to the adjudicator only to back down at the very last minute but there are no guarantees. There must be someone who has gone through this process and can confirm what happens. |
