I've been given a ticket for parking near the Town Hall. I was parked on the other side of the kerb from the forecourt which I now learn is covered by a different machine from the one that had a large sign on it saying PAY HERE nearby where I parked. Another gentleman had just been caught out in exactly the same way as me as I returned to my car. After searching on the forum I found a number of other threads about this spot but there didn't seem to be any indication as to whether people were able to successfully appeal against fines issued in this way. I assume Hounslow Council will reject the appeal but do they ever take appeals on tickets at this spot to the adjudicator? Any help and advice gratefully received. |
