This site has always been a bit of a challenge for many years so when it yet again closed this Spring and then went through yet another refurb - and looks jolly nice I thought I would enquire about having our office Christmas dinner there.  I thought the new owners would be keen to get those Christmas bookings, there's even a red sign above the door saying 'book for Christmas' .... silly me, I have sent 3 emails and spent weeks trying to ring them - no response to any of my emails and the phone number is permanently engaged.  So today I went in there at lunchtime, it was dead, there were 4 people having lunch and 2 people at the bar.  I was told that all emails went to their PR department in Bermondsey and their phone doesn't work - I was singularly unimpressed .... you've bought a difficult site and you are making absolutely no effort to make a go of it, I fear this venture will be doomed!
