Fab news, Marlene! I got my new litter (six 4 week olds!) and Mum on Monday to foster and although they seemed okay, I had to rush the little runt up to Petcare last night because he looked in pain and was losing weight. He's anaemic and I need to syringe feed him very high nutrient food but he's gained 10 gm already after medicine and syringe and bottle feeding. Although PetCare will minimise the costs, this sort of incident is an example of why HAWs always need funds for vets bills. Mum was a stray and is very thin so she's also on high calorie food. She's adorable though and the six kittens are wonderfully friendly and cute! |
