Isleworth & Syon has an extremely successful Sixth Form, which has been in the top 10% for value-added for the last ten years. Our primary aim is to ensure that all students experience an academic education of the highest standard, and the school offers a highly supportive environment for students to continue their post-sixteen studies. Girls are welcome in our Sixth Form, either as part of the Consortium or as an external applicant. In 2014, our results at A-Level were excellent, bucking the national trend. As results across the country fell for the first time in thirty-two years, Isleworth & Syon showed slight rise across the board, with a 100% pass rate and 25% of grades at A/A*. Three-quarters of all grades were at A*-C. These results were a testimony to the school’s continued desire to be ‘outstanding in every respect’. In the Sixth Form, our expectations are high, with senior students expected to operate as role models for students in the lower school. This is reflected in the Sixth Form appearance policy. Boys are expected to dress in a smart business attire, with a suit, tie, and brown or black shoes compulsory. Girls are also expected to dress in a smart business style.
