Service cuts in neighbouring Tory boroughs such as H&F, K&C and Westminster seem to have been much less because they made significant job reductions by consolidating departments and operating them on a shared basis. This reduced headcount but not service provision. What is perhaps surprising at this stage is that Hounslow, Ealing and maybe Brent have not come together share services except for parking. |
