How ridiculous - I feel for you. Yes unfortunately to answer your point number 7. They will not collect from the new bins until next week. I had to transfer back the rubbish to our old bins last night after being assured there would be a collection today (as of yet, that hasn't happened). So I guess the issue for you is the rubbishmen are being literal and whether they collected from your old perfectly good wheelie bin or not, if it s a wheelie bin they won't touch it. Just stupid.
