Thanks for everyone's responses, especially those recommending LV=. She has just signed-up with LV= at a saving of £60. We had a discussion about whether she should move insurers at all, given that she feels comfortable with SAGA and their breakdown service. In the end she decided it might be best to approach SAGA as a "new customer" in time for her 80th birthday during next year's cover period. She is fairly internet savvy but was finding it really difficult to compare like with like in terms of compulsory and voluntary excesses, no claims discount cover and the level of breakdown service provided. |
