| Certainly not Petcare on CHR, nearly 2 years ago I took Fifi in for her annual vaccination and after a 30 second examination the vet casually pronounced that she had a heart murmur and I should put her for tests that would cost over £500. I went home devastated and called another Vet and got an appointment for following day. She had a really thorough examination with specific attention paid to her heart - zero trace of a heart murmur!!! The Vet said she would call Petcare with her findings. Within 10 minutes of her call I received a call from Petcare saying he was delighted about second opinion but would I bring Fifi back so he could once again examine her, we went back and surprise, surprise he pronounced there wasn't a heart murmur! Interestingly, Petcare diagnosed 2 other Jack Russell and one Chihuahua with heart murmurs in the same week as Fifi was diagnosed. I now use Grove Park Vets and they are great. |
