"Unbelievable that the UK is behind France - not known for its love of animals - in classifying animals as living creatures capable of feeling pain. Please sign the petition to ask the UK government to do likewise." Could you please explain what difference this would make, as the petition page fails to make this clear. In what sense does the UK not classify animals in this way? Are you suggesting legislation of some sort, and if so what would it achieve? |
