| Jonathan, the H91 used to be the plain old 91, and did used to run to the airport.I remember my dad taking me to the Queens building to look at the aircraft.We used to get the 91 from Turnham Green all the way to Heathrow.It used to be a full days excursion.Packed lunch.The full works.In those days, air travel was exclusively for the rich.I remember my first flight in 1970 on a BAC 111 a jet.What a privilege, a jet instead of an old piston pounder.I couldn't sleep for days before my first flight.I was so excited.Now I face every flight with nothing but dread. |
