No prob. The pedestrian didn't do a sharp turn they jogged towards the zebra crossing and crossed. All drivers approaching a zebra crossing should know to be extra vigilant and if they cannot see properly slow down. In any event there were a number of seconds when the driver would have had clear vision and still no slowing down, no emergency stop nothing. And I do also consider the pedestrian at fault hence split liability. On a complete tangent I do loathe it when I drive from a main road into a side roan and pedestrians just cross the road without looking and then look at the driver like they have a cheek to be driving there. |
