Am I Georgie? Because pedestrian has priority on a zebra crossing, the car at no time slowed down and it is clear the driver would have seen the pedestrian prior to the collision, a car is a dangerous object which can do significant damage and therefore higher responsibility. Pedestrian should have not just run out, should have taken care for their own safety. Therefore split liability. |
