| The new bus stops inside the entrance to the Business Park are very much to be welcomed as they will be more convenient for many of its workers and will allow residents in West Chiswick to board the bus closer to where they live, rather than having to walk down to Halfords for the first stop on Chiswick High Road. In relation to route 70 there is a danger that terminating the bus service at an isolated stop at the back of the Business Park will not be a great success, especially at weekends when the offices are empty. The extended route needs to serve the new stops at the front of the Business Park and ideally run on along Chiswick High Road to turn in Power Road or at a new bus stand in Capital Interchange Way behind the leisure centre. Residents in West Chiswick would then have a frequent bus service to Acton and Hammersmith Hospital and those bus passengers making an Acton-Brentford/Isleworth/Great West Road journey could change to the 237/267/H91 routes at a common bus stop on Chiswick High Road. If the 70 extension is to help relieve peak hour congestion at Gunnersbury Station in advance of the opening of Building 7 at the Business Park it needs to stop as close as possible to the offices at the front of the Business Park and on Chiswick High Road.
