| I was in a shop on the High Road today and there was a bloke banging about how a bill for £1.70 was too high. Anyway he was ranting on and then the shop manager explained that he was due a 50% rebate because his account was overpaid and he'd only have to pay .85p. The bloke seemed to take this as a great victory and left the shop muttering about how it was a triumph for 'him and Britain'. On closer inspection he had dyed black hair and looked very like a Mr G Osborne of 11 Downing Street. Odd eh? |
