Well, that may not be fair, she may have been beavering away in the background, but you are right, she needs to be much more in touch and more visible.  Let's hope if she does do that it doesn't backfire as I suspect the latest desperate attempt to make Ed Miliband more popular by wheeling him out more will.   The more people see of this introspective Hampstead intellectual who has no idea of what most of the country thinks and feels, or if he does, thinks we are wrong, with no real world experience of a proper job or having to earn a real salary with no safety net, and most of whose ideas are impractical and doomed to failure, the more untrusted he will be.
