| Buy on ebay 24 hour CCTV surveilance stickers front and back of house.I don't have a camera which has to be authorised.I also use the stickers to prevent dog foulers who seem to try and sneak out at night but my security also sorts that ! Some people have "bells and whistles" alarms but physical security should comes first and the alarm second. Touch wood a scum burglar will move on to another property if it sees a sticker and even a false alarm box.You'd be nuts to take a chance with a house having all of the above plus bars which every basement needs. The same is true if you have plenty of locks on the front including an Ingersoll since its generally too much trouble for the pinhead.You are more at risk if you have a side entrance obscured from public view but with the above hopefully the muppet will still be deterred. I've never bothered with an alarm linked to the police because I don't want the hassle and expense.Oh yes robust insurance with someone fair like Hiscox who generally won't defeat your clain if you've left your window open. |
