The single carriage District Line train shuttled between Acton Town and South Acton Stations crossing over Bollo Lane at the point where fragments of the bridge still remain.
It was an odd journey costing only one or two pennies...and what was to see st South Acton !
The platform of the terminus at Acton Town still structurally remains but is partially hidden from view. Yes, I do remember it all.
