| Thank you both, but my question was - has anyone in Acton Green actually got fibre optic bb? and neither of you has answered it!I just wanted to know if TalkTalk had actually checked on availability before making the 'offer'! Yes, I'm aware of their dodgy 'time-limited' offers - they've gone as far as giving me half-price line rental until the beginning of the new contract period (May 2015) after that, they suggest that I 're-negotiate'. All their business negotiations are done through their various call centres - so far I've spoken twice to South Africa and once to, I think, somewhere in India. Each time the operator has offered different 'boosts' and I suspect they each get rewarded if they can talk fast enough to confuse you into apparently accepting one of their boosts. What a way to do business. Does anyone know if Plusnet are any better? |
