| Well said Johanna - I fully agree with your comments. These charities would never have raised such a huge amount of money without this beautiful, original and very moving installation. The entire concept and its "execution" (??) at the Tower of London is an inspiration. It has reinforced London and Britain as a World centre for innovatitive design, while benefiting not just the charities concerned but also our tourist industry. The Poppies at the Tower have brought wonder, emotion and comfort to the countless millions throughout the World who have looked, marvelled, reflected and remembered all those who died in that tragic World War. |
