| Installed Yosemite earlier in the week and ran in to a lot of issues. Tried all the usual fixes, but lots of wheel spinning. Did a restore from Time Machine hoping to get back to Mavericks but realised I didn't have a recent backup of that so went back to Yosemite. Machine now running fine again (old 2009 MacBook with new SSD added). Dunno why that fixed it - it pulled Kindle out as being incompatible, wouldn't be that that was slowing it all down? |
