Unfortunately I didn't the chance to try the first method,everything got lost when I uninstalled. When I've uninstalled in the past, chrome always remembered everything, this time it had a serious senior moment and lost the lot.
I've given the second suggestion a go, and that hasn't done it either. I've now installed the same version of chrome that's working well on another laptop, and it's working perfectly, so I can only suppose I've got awrong setting (not in chrome) or a conflict of some sort. |
