Viv Two approaches to this Two steps: First save the files with your Google passwords. They are logindata and logindatajournal which you will find under your profile at appdata/local/google/chrome/userdata/default. Close Chrome and copy those two files to someplace safe then delete them from their current location. Then use the Chrome settings /show advanced / privacy / clear browsing data / to the beginning of time / clear saved password and clear autofllform data Open Chrome and go to a site to save a password. The two files you deleted will be recreated. Now close Chrome and copy the original two files back to their proper locations overwriting the files just created. Restart Chrome and you will have your passwords back and you will get the Save Password prompt. OR Clear all cookies and then try again. If you are having problems clearing them (some are persistent little ****) then download and use CCleaner. It's free and does a good clean-up job |
