Either digging for worms or burrowing for home life. Maybe they have set up close to you and are burrowing a underground passage. From google, dog hairs spread around the place, pepper, repellants (e.g. “Katzen-Stop” grains from Schweizer, available in pet shops and garden centres), and rags soaked in petroleum. A few years ago foxes had moved in next door under the shed. Unfortunately next door was away for some time and they had already settled in and had the young. I know some may like foxes and all the arguments for and against and the lovely views of the cubs running around in the garden playing but believe me,when they set up home in your own garden they will reep havock to your garden and give you sleepless nights. November is when vixens will start to investigate in preparation for home life |
