It's not just the High Road and flytippers, the Dukes Avenue underpass to Chiswick House hasn't been swept for at least four weeks - probably longer.   I feel embarrassed for anyone making the trek down from the station to two of our most cherished attractions (Chiswick House and Hogarth's House) and having to witness (and often smell) such a disgusting mess.   No use complaining to the council.   They either ignore complaints or reply with patronising guff about "everyone's" responsibility to prevent this happening.   There are three or four schools in the area.   Schoolkids drop stuff.   It's the council's responsibility to provide a regular, reliable cleaning service - whether they think they "should" or not.
