A bit more digging around and it seems that the 'grand houses of Kensington Village' and the west end hotels favoured the quality of finish and proximity of Acton to that of the laundries in Poplar and Limehouse. Looking back at the old registers it seems that the average attendance at St.Alban's was in 1903: 477 a.m.; 321 p.m. |
