Police are warning Chiswick residents to be extra vigilant and not to leave valuables in their cars and to make sure vehicles are locked after a flurry of car break ins and thefts. 'Bedford Park and areas around Turnham Green tube station have seen a noticeable increase in burglaries and in particular car crime' said Inspector Steven Edwards. 'We ask that car owners make sure their cars are locked and that valuables are well out of sight to deter opportunist thieves. If you see any suspicious activity, call Police on 101 or 999'. http://chiswickherald.co.uk/car-owners-beware-after-spate-of-thefts-p2697-203.htm |
