But you may be right that wider knowledge of the free parking in the afternoon has brought more shoppers to your road. Your problems appear to be more extreme than in my part of the zone. Which road are you in? It's ironic that the hours in zone CC, which were set partly to accommodate the school run for the two primary schools in the zone, are now causing you problems for your own school run (I assume to schools elsewhere). You could try writing to one of your ward councillors, but I think you would encounter a lot of resistance to changes in the hours for CC. The other possibility is to move your road into another zone, as Linden Gardens did several years ago. |
