Very sad news. It will be interesting to see how many people turn up for the first game. If it is the one against London Irish they there will probably be many more away fans. If it is the one against Castres then that still might be the case judging from the reaction of Wasps season ticket holders I know.

The amateur club may be able to ensure its survival by selling land for development at the top end of their site. I think there is a plot owned by former owner Chris Wright there on which there is a plan to build housing. They could probably look at selling land adjacent to that to secure funding.
