| Come on, Owen - admit your reasons for being so passionately pro-CPZ. Do you work for a company that supplies the equipment or are you an under-employed warden looking for more cars to ticket ? 94% of residents polled did not want a CPZ in their area. The decision to divide and rule by Ed Mayne, Labour councillor for Isleworth, on the pretence of displacement of commuter parking from Chiswick House, was a shabby plot to force CPZs on the area street-by-street, as he knew full well that there was area-wide opposition. You just can't trust Labour. Setting out to displace parking from one street into another is tantamount to forcing that second street to follow suit, whatever weasel words you use to try and deny it. |
