Rachel Victor -Sampson does exist despite her deafening silence. She answered my e-mail when I asked her to show some leadership in our fight against rubbish in Chiswick. She says that most of the rubbish is the result of business waste which the council is not responsible for. This is not true. Residents are guilty as well.  She referred me to Matthew Williamson. Amrit Mann is not interested either. He referred me to the same gentleman. Hounslow Council is taking token actions and promises results "in the near future". How long has John Todd complained about the sorry state of Chiswick High Road? Years? I sometimes feel that we are fighting on behalf of businesses who don't care. They are the first ones affected by this problem. They let residents fight for them.  Some people eat in restaurants in full view of piles of rubbish. I have noticed that some shop owners move the rubbish bags away from their shop and put them in front of another one. How desperate is that?
