| I think my favourite "spot" in Chiswick is, on a sunny day, walking along roads with the Richard Norman Shaw-designed houses in Bedford Park. All of the properties along Queen Anne's Gardens, Woodstock Road, Priory Avenue etc are beautifully laid out and walking through to Turnham Green Terrace for a cup of coffee or mug of chocolate is a delight. I worked in the area in the late 80s and as the cost of the houses has gone up, they are, unsurprisingly, in better and better condition. |
