Notwithstanding your smart ass, I'm so superior, remarks, the fact remains that you pay a higher tax level on £32.011 and over in 2013/14, that's a decrease of £5.390 over a four year period, where the personal allowance has only increased by £3.525. So in spite of the comments yesterday and the promise of the threshold rising, people will still only be back roughly at the level they would have been in the tax year 2012/13. It's all smoke and mirrors, or if you prefer - lies, damned lies and statistics.
