I was getting thoroughly fed up with nuisance phone calls.We had 7 the other day, with the last one being an international number playing a recording informing me I had won a cruise ( sure ).This call came in after 10:00 pm, and was the culmination of a rubbish day phone call wise..
I started looking into what was available to stop these calls getting through, and came across BT's Call Guardian.Brilliant ! I bought it enclosed within a new phone/answerphone, the BT8500 for 50 quid.Now all these recorded calls are screened out.They don't even get presented to me to decide if I want to accept them.Every other call is screened and I decide whether to take it or not.All your regular calls get through without screening once the phone learns who you want to accept calls from.it's a great bit of kit.We haven't had a single unwanted call since we've had this phone. |
