| It was council van, They are all gone now. Its such a shame they are gone. If it was residents complaining then it sounds like there is an ulterior motive for them to be cut down such as they block sunlight, cause leaves to fall on my car etc. I had a look at the stumps and they look perfectly healthy to me. So can we assume the rest of the trees down Bolton road will be felled. Its such a shame, Chiswick is such an attractive place to live in part to our tree lined streets. I wonder if the trees will be replaced with new ones. I find it really hard to understand why we don't give mature trees the same protection as old buildings, they really deserve it. |
