Isn't that, in part, the argument against the 'bedroom' tax? I know it has become fashionable to see properties as simply cash cows, but some people actually just like living somewhere and have no desire to move anywhere else just because they could have a bigger property there. Would you suggest that everyone without the requisite income be driven out of high price areas even though their habitation there predates the massive price hikes? |
