| Tonight sees the launch of Shop Chiswick, a free, local social media initiative to help the numerous small businesses within Chiswick raise awareness and connect with our local community through social media channels. Tonight's launch is at Club Workspace in Barley Mow Passage from 6-8.30pm and will include a panel session, social media clinic to help those new to Twitter etc, wine tasting from Chiswick based Red Squirrel Wine and an opportunity to meet, chat and generally share ideas etc with other businesses in Chiswick. The event is part of Social Media Week. Afterwards, there will be the monthly Chiswick Tweet Up at Sam's Brasserie which is again a great opportunity to meet other local businesses and a great support network if like many of us, you work from home :) Disclosure: I am connected to this event as am a local resident and Chiswick based business on the discussion panel and regularly attend the Tweet Ups! |
