However is Old Oak Common seen as primarily an interchange station - the equivalent of Clapham Junction for west London - or a business and residential area in its own right? If it is the latter, then do all the rail connections need to be right beside each other? For example, it is a pretty long walk from Canary Wharf DLR to Underground but that doesn't seem to matter as Canary Wharf is a destination in its own right. |
