Good point, Paul, and in response to some of Ms Moron's (sorry, typo) comments, I would proffer the following. CM: "Apparently, I was told by someone who knows a lot about dogs that labradors are the dogs vets most hate treating as they are one of the most aggressive breeds. I was surprised as I have never met an aggressive labrador - greedy yes but not aggressive - and labs are often recruited to be guide dogs". I was also once told by someone who used to know someone, who knows absolutely nothing about anything, that something may or may not affect the behaviour of a labrador especially in relation to anything or nothing at all. Like all dogs regarding their behaviour, it depends very much how they were brought up as puppies, and how their owners train/trained them. Siberian Huskies can occasionally be, or appear to be, aggressive to both humans and other dogs. CM: "I am afraid you are talking out of your backside as usual BC (which among the doggy community stands for border collie. Unfortunately from your posts I don't think so as you don't match their renowned intelligence. In response to your comments:- - no it isn't and there is no way you could know anyway; it is none of your business; ditto; and two your last two comments, see my previous points". You must have had a few sherries before you wrote that. I suggest a large Bob Martin's & tonic instead, to calm you down. As for my two two comments... Mind you it’s a relief to know that not all my comments ‘on just about every post on here’, are ‘the’(??) rubbish, otherwise I’d be in your league without even trying. Charlotte said: ‘It was a lunge accompanied by a curled lip and bared teeth…’ Are you sure that wasn’t the owner? En passant, I noticed a post by Kelly Jamieson looking for a dog friendly hotel in the locality - the Chiswick Moran springs to mind. And why all the secrecy up to now, about the breed of the dog? I trust the spinning and knitting have been satisfactorily completed? Also: 'Guide Dogs recent dubious statistics re attacks'. What precisely are these statistics, and why are they dubious? |
