| Maggie I think the answer to that is yes and no. I can think of roads around here where they are totally unnecessary, in fact they can be a right pain. I can think of two or three roads locally where they should be taken out as they serve no useful purpose. We have them where I live and we too have one right outside, but we don't get lorries at regular intervals, really they were only needed at junctions to slow people down a bit not spread everywhere like a rash. Some of them are evil and you need to be really careful driving over them. |
