As I mentioned previously I was on the contactless trial and did make the mistake of having another Oyster card in my wallet so did end up swiping in with one card, swiping out with another, and getting charged maximum fare twice for about 10 journeys. To get a refund, I needed to go through the journey history of both cards from the TfL website, pick out the incomplete journeys then correlate the incomplete journeys from both cards to show the stations I had entered and left for each incomplete journey. I then sent this to TfL and in fairness, they refunded everything with no problem. Gathering all this information was quite time consuming and I don't know if TfL will be as accommodating as they were during the trial. |
