Haws have lots of lovely kittens and are the local independent charity so it would be good if you would support them and adopt from them. They do have some restrictions on who can adopt but they are all based on common sense.
Whatever you decide to do please DO NOT buy one from Gumtree or any other paper, unless you are allowed to go and see the kittens with their Mum. HAWs have just had another 6 week old (FAR too young to leave mum) handed in. The sellers come to your door, take the money and thrust a vulnerable and too young kitten at you and leave. They are often ill and always traumatised at being removed from Mum too early. |
