Win 8.1 is pretty good - a different animal to win 8. I gather that win 9 will support touch but won't force it on anyone! Ms got very badly burnt by their arrogance and Balmer has now gone. Nadilla - who came from Nokia and knows about failing businesses - has done a lot since he arrived in Feb and is more in touch with what is happening. Win 9 will not be released until next year sometime and will probably be a low cost upgrade from 8.1. I still have win 7 on my machine and will probably ungrade to 8.1 early next year. I have 8.1 on a rubbish machine and it runs well on it and is OK |
