Presumably you just want what I call a rolled hem. I would make sure the curtain edge was cut really straight, then "roll" the smallest amount possible, pin and tack it (yes, really), then hem by hand. I know it's laborious, but the advantage of hand sewing is that it can more easily be undone without leaving pinholes if it does go wavy. And also, presuming that the curtains are gathered, with a vertical edge you've got some leeway to cut everything off and start again! Good luck. |
