Also make sure to reduce the volume of the plastic as much as possible: Squash those milk jugs; water bottles and fizzy drinks bottles! It is easy with the bigger ones. You can also reduce the amount of plastic packaging that you buy: You can change to buying some (or all) milk in reusable bottles from the milkman. Try filtering your water if you don't want to drink plain tap water. I think the majority of us still do drink tap water - it is probably tested more than bottled! Forget the sweet fizzy drinks or reduce them - they're not good for you! Don't eat so many ready meals - they're probably not good for you either! Buy naked fruit and vegetables. You can buy just the amount you want.
