| "I read today that the CEO of RingGo reckons that 1-2% of users enter the registration number incorrectly." If that includes people entering zero instead of letter o, or vice versa (as you mentioned earlier), that's RingGo's fault. The two characters on number plates are identical, and RingGo's software should be able to decide which are zeroes and which are o's. It's unreasonable to expect all drivers to understand the quirks of our number plate system, where the two characters on either side of the 7 in OOO7OO are quite different from those in OOO7OOO. |
