Please hold fire on all new ways to spread the word, but continue with posters, sharing and tweeting, until after this. Tomorrow will be 1 week that Alice has been missing. A team of volunteers and Josie MissingPeople Allan are going to be at the Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre from midday until 7pm showing Alice’s poster and signing people up so we can email them a copy. On behalf of Alice's family and friends can I please reiterate that the purpose of this group is to raise awareness of Alice's disappearance and organise a poster/social media campaign to help find her. Speculation about the case is not helpful and is not beneficial in helping to locate Alice. The police are working solidly on any leads, and are dealing with the media. The family have full trust and confidence in the way that the police are dealing with matters. Please continue to share posts on Facebook, tweet, tell family and friends about Alice, post supportive messages, and continue the poster campaign. If you see a post that is unhelpful, inappropriate or speculation, please do not reply. Simply tag one of the group administrators immediately. If you have genuine information call 101. There has been a lot of media interest, please direct all enquiries to the Metropolitan Police Press Office who we are working with, and any information that we want to be shared will be via us or them.
