It just indicates to me how the police have only become interested in nicking easy targets and in not upholding the law and preventing crime, which is all they are there to do really. As far as I know this couple have committed no criminal offence and even if they have their emotional distress is a huge mitigating factor. Shame on the police at Rotherham and in all the other towns where that type of grooming is going on. The police need to get back to what they are supposed to do and enforce the law evenly, not make enemies of the law abiding public.
