People might find this link of interest.  However, the main thing that I find distressing about the RSPCA is the number of healthy animals they put to sleep who would make wonderful pets - and how quickly they do it.  And if there is the least thing wrong even that could be corrected with vet treatment they have very little chance.   I shudder every time the ad comes on about little Molly being left after her owner dies and how we should consider making arrangements with the RSPCA for them to take your animal (for a fee of course) if anything should happen to you - you are basically almost certainly paying them to have the animal put down.

The link is http://www.thepetitionsite.com/788/204/802/royal-society-for-the-protection-against-cruelty-to-animals-rspca-must-be-made-accountable/?z00m=21454236&redirectID=
